What is Methyl Lactate?
methyl lactate is colorless and clear with a peculiar odor. It is soluble in water and many solvents. It has a high boiling point and slow volatility rate. Products include D and L optically active isomers as well as racemic (DL isomers). Optically active isomers are currently used as synthetic raw materials in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.
